Metallised Polyester is laminated to kraft paper through extrusion process which adds strength to the paper and also acts as a moisture barrier. The metallised lamination is used inside of paper sacks and bags as it helps to retain aroma and hence finds massive usues in the tea packgaing and other food packaging industries.

Due to the heat sealable qualitites, they can be formed into paper pouches and paper bags for varous other packaging purposes.
